This adapter is used to mount a fuel petcock with a 1/4″ connection to a tank with a 3/8″ connection. The adapter is made of stainless steel and has a 3/8″ NPT male connection (external thread) to the tank and a 1/4″ NPT female connection (internal thread) to the fuel tap.

Assembly note: The NPT thread is a tapered thread, which is self-sealing at low pressure. Nevertheless, it should be used with Teflon tape (see DOCK art. no. 18-0063). The plug is not screwed in completely. After „hand tight“ please tighten a ¼ to ½ turn.
