Torque Valve – Torque Insert for increasing low-end torque.
This exhaust torque insert functions like a valve that prevents backflow and fresh charge contamination. Exhaust gases are prevented from flowing back into the combustion chamber. The result is better cylinder filling (especially at low RPMs) and therefore increased torque. The special shape also promotes the Venturi effect.

Installation of the Torque Valve:
Remove the exhaust system to access the header.
Insert the Torque Valve into the header. It must sit flush with the sealing surface of the exhaust header. High-temperature sealant (e.g. Firegum) and/or smoothing of the weld seam in the header may help. Reinstall the exhaust system using a new header gasket. Start the engine and check the exhaust for leaks.
