PETEC rubber profile adhesive is a one-component, heat-resistant contact adhesive designed for reliable bonding in workshop and automotive applications. It is especially suitable for motorcycle seat foam and artificial leather upholstery, as well as rubber profiles and seals.

The adhesive bonds materials such as solid rubber, foam rubber, natural rubber, leather, linen, felt, rigid PVC and butyl rubber – also in combination with wood, aluminium, steel or fibre cement boards. Typical applications include door seals, weatherstrips, insulation mats, trim panels, as well as use in cars, caravans, boats and general household repairs.

With a temperature resistance from -30 °C to +120 °C and resistance to water, fuel, diluted acids and alkalis, it is suitable for both interior and exterior applications.

Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease.
Apply adhesive evenly to both surfaces and allow to flash off for approx. 10 minutes at room temperature. Once the correct bonding time is reached, carefully position the parts and press firmly together. Do not hammer.

Initial bond is immediate. Full curing time is approx. 48 Hours.
